Posting from my phone real quick, will reply to the other comments later. Just had to mention it, LA loses get's blown out for the third game in a row and have to NO tonight in another possible blow out....they'll be lucky to get a 4th seed this year if they keep it up, which means they'll probably be sitting at home after round two.

Thats a big IF there hoss. They had a terrible second half last night. Lead at HT, and shot 50% for the first half. Shot 35% for the game to show how bad the 2nd half went. It may have been one of the sloppiest games for star players in general. Kobe missed 13 straight at one point and Duncan only scored 2 points. Bynum was tough when in there. He's back, but not fully. He's way behind on conditioning and is only playing about 20 minutes a game right now. They look very different when he's in there, and should be much better when he gets 30+ minutes a game.

Now let's mention who blew LA out by 15 points with the best PF ever having his WORST game of his career.

hey now, its worth mentioning that George Hill and Manu (mainly Hill) did an incredible job guarding Kobe last night. Hill aggravated Kobe all day long, and took Kobe out of the game.

and LA is in trouble if they cant defend the point guard. Tony Parker dominated last night. He was absolutely unguardable. and even DaJuan Blair, a guy with no offensive skill at all, had a big game against LA. Theres no doubt that LA is a tough team, but unless they get serious offensive contributions from Gasol and Artest, no way they repeat.

    Re: NBA Christmas games...

not really far fetched at all, it's very possible actually. I doubt very seriously they re getting a 1st/2nd place, it's going to be a toss-up with OKC for that 4th spot and they better pray they get 4th...OKC with home-court advantage would be huge against any team, but with a rematch of last year with the Lakers in a series they gave them all they could handle? Strictly from a bball fan prospective and not laker-hate talking, OKC takes that series without a doubt with home-court. teams like OKC are dangerous to any team with home-court, Utah is another too. They still know how to play without Bynum and win without him, he'll probably end up hurt again before the playoffs, they just have no bench and Artest is a no-show this year.

You mean they won one actually?

    Re: NBA Christmas games...

What does that have to do with your comment earlier? Nothing. Thats exactly right Deflecty Deflectorson. And OKC looks to have played about the same schedule as LAL yet LAL has a better record and stats.

    Re: NBA Christmas games...

That a better OKC team than last season, a worse LA team than last season, couldn't easily take down LA with home-court advantage when they took LA to 6 games last year being an 8 seed? LA had a pretty easy schedule, I haven't looked at OKC's, but only 1/2 of a game back...and that's just one more losss and game played too, same amount of wins.
